Bhagavad Gita (Hindi: भगवद्गित, English: Bhagavad Gita) is a sacred text of Hinduism. It is a part of the 5th Veda and Indian Epic, and is often called the “Krishna Paksha” or “The Black Cow” because the original manuscript was buried and later found by Krishna. The text consists of 700 verses and is primarily a dialogue between the character Arjuna and the divine personality Krishna. It is a spiritual text that is the foundation of Hinduism and is regarded as the holy scripture by all sects of Hinduism. The significance of the text is that it provides answers to the questions that arise in the mind of an individual, and helps him understand his relationship with God and the world.
